The new song "Jiya" of Gunday is a romantic track featuring Priyanka as a seductress with Ranveer Singh. Arijit Singh‘s voice leaves you totally mesmerized and spellbound to the music of Sohail Sen and lyrics of Irshad Kamil. The visuals remind of 'Suraj Hua Madham' from the film "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and 'Hai Rama' from "Rangeela". The song has been shot at picturesque locations of Oman and is choreographed by Bosco Caesar.
Tune Maari Entriyaan
Watch the rocking song "Tune Maari Entriyaan" which is sung by Vishal Dadlani, KK, Neeti Mohan and Bappi Lahiri. The lyrics are by Irshad Kamil and music by Sohail Sen. This song is the best song of the album and don't be surprised if you find it playing at the dahi handi for Holi. ;)
You will surely go retro with this number where like in 80s two heros woo one heroine. Also the costumes are reminiscent of that era with over the top costumes, and bell bottom pants. Ranveer and Arjun remind of Jai Veeru from "Sholay".
Director Ali Abbas Zafar has chosen Kolkata as the backdrop for his film 'Gunday'. The movie starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor is set in the 1970s and 1980s. It is about Bikram and Bela who rose from being small time wagon breakers and coal thieves to becoming the biggest and most powerful black marketing mafia-men.

This will be Ranveer's third movie with Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner( 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl'). The same goes for Arjun, who did 'Ishaqzaade' with them and 'Aurangzeb'. This is the first time the two actors are coming together on screen. The leading lady of the movie is Priyanka Chopra. Zafar's did his directorial debut with the romantic comedy 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' for YRF and is doing his second movie for the same banner. 'Gunday' went on floors in December 2013 and is releasing on Feb 14, 2014. Earlier, movies like 'Yuva' and 'Calcutta Mail' were also shot in Kolkata.
Looks like Katrina will have to regret once again for losing the role to Priyanka. Her previous decision of leaving Barfi was a bad choice and she may have committed the same mistake once again.
The music by Sohail Sen surely impresses and the album can be expected to be a hit with its music. For the unknown, Sohail has previously worked in movies like "What's Your Raashee", "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" and "Ek Tha Tiger". He has won "Big Star Entertainment Awards for the most entertaining Music Score" in 2012 for Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger".

The song surely reminds one of Tarkeebein song from Band Baaja Baarat. But it manages to strike a chord and get struck in mind with you. Sohail's compositions have always been simple but stay with audience be it Su Che or Dhunki. Catch the song in below video to watch for the chemistry shared by Ranveer and Arjun. They surely remind you of Sholay ki Jai Veeru.
Now YRF casting the duo in a serious movie may prove fruitful with good returns but Aditya Chopra must also consider signing them once again for a comedy movie. Watch the velow video of Koffee with Karan and see how the duo make a laugh riot leaving Karan with no option but to send them away ASAP!!!
