Leaving behind his sweet boy image Sidharth is seen opening up as an outgoing boy. Parineeti is playing a geek chick. Just one complaint regarding the trailer is why would they use Senti Sidharth and Mental Parineeti instead it should have been Senti Nikhil and Mental Meeta. Playing a tomboy role is a first for Parineeti and she appears overdoing it unlike her earlier roles.
This is first colloboration between Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap as producers and the movie is more of a Dharma film than a Phantom production.
Dharma seems to be risking with same genre of their last flop 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' and "Hasee Toh Phasee" trailer reminds of the same.
