LifeOK Screen awards: Highlights

"Chennai Express" movie won the award for Best Marketed Film of 2013 and Best VFX was given to "Krrish 3" . Both the awards went to Red Chillies entertainment. 

Shahid Kapoor made an entry onstage in a chopper and later performed to his hit songs including 'Gandibaat'. 









"Devon Ka Dev Mahadev" fame Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy were presenters at the event. Mohit was also seen taking acting lessons from Shah Rukh Khan later.

Varun Dhawan was seen doing a flashback act unveiling the set designed by Omung Kumar.




Sushanth Singh Rajput was awarded Most promising Newcomer Male for "Kai Po Che".  

RemoD'Souza won Best choreographer for Badtameez Dil song in "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani"

Jury's special award went to "Ship of Thesus" movie. Japtej Singh who played young Milkha Singh in "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" won the award for Best Child artiste. Actress Kajol gave Best Actress award (Marathi) to her mother Tanuja. "Balak Palak" won best Marathi film award.

The event host Shah Rukh Khan got huge applause from audience for his entry on stage.


Shahrukh along with YoYo Honey Singh swooned the audience with the rappers song "Blue Eyes"



S. Ravi Varman won Best Cinematography for "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela"
Screen Award for Best costume went to Anju Modi, Maxima Basu for " Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela ".

Action heroes Shahid Kapoor and Sonu Sood gave away the award for the Best Action to Manohar Verma for "Madras Cafe" which also won Ramnath Goenka Memorial award.

"Chak De" fame Shilpa Shukla wons the Best Negative Role (Female) for "BA Pass" movie. 


Veteran actors Bindu and Prem Chopra presented Rishi Kapoor with the Best Actor in Negative Role award.

"Gangs of Wasseypur" fame Richa Chadda got the Best comic Male/Female for her act as Bholi Punjaban in "Fukrey".

Actress Swara Bhaskar bagged the Best Supporting (Female) award for Raanjhanaa .

Saurabh Shukla bagged the award for the Best Supporting Actor (Male) for Jolly LLB. 

Life Ok Screen Hero Award went to Deepika Padukone who was also sharing the stage with Shah Rukh Khan. The duo entertained audience with their parody.


Music director Pritam won the award for the Best Music for "Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani". 

Swanand Kirkire won the award for Best Lyrics - Manjha from Kai Po Che .

Shreya Ghoshal won the Best  Playback Singer Female award for the song "Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu" from "Aashiqui 2". 

Arijit Singh won the Best singer (Male)  for "Tum Hi Ho" from "Aashiqui 2". He rendered the song "Sun Raha Hai Na Tu" for audience.

Best Ensemble Cast award went to the movie "Club 60"

Mohan Sikka won the award for the Best Story for "B.A Pass". 

Hansal Mehta and Apurva Asrani's gripping screenplay for "Shahid" movie won them the Best Screenplay Award while Sameer Gautam Singh won Best Dialogues award

Ranveer Singh was seen doing a Govinda act performing to Raja  Babu songs.


UTV head Ronnie Screwvala bagged award for Outstanding contribution to cinema 


Bachchans were in attendance sans Aishwarya. Amitabh received Lifetime achievement award from Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Shatrughna Sinha

Best Director: Shoojit Sircar, Madras Cafe

Best Film: Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Best Actress (Popular and Jury Award): Deepika Padukone for Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Chennai Express

Best Actor (Jury) : Farhan Akhtar, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag 

Best Actor (Popular): Shah Rukh Khan for Chennai Express
