The new season of the dance show starts with Karan Johar feeling bored and goes onto pray to god. Moving on, Shahid Kapoor puts on a performance to get the show rolling. The 12 contestants of the reality show are introduced and they put on a collective dance performance. Deepika Samson (Sasural Simaar Ka) , Vivian D Sena(Madhubala), Sanaya Irani (Rangrasiya), Radhika Madan (Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi) have been part of Colors shows.
The host of the show is Manish Paul. The gurus on the show are Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde.
Among the contestants Faisal and Shamita Shetty impressed most with their performances.

After a successful stint last year, Colors is back with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and this time the season is called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded. It is a television reality show and the Indian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Celebrities will compete with each other along with their choreographer partners. This year Shahid Kapoor makes his TV debut as one of the esteemed judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reoladed.
Shahid, who enthralled everyone on the premiere night of Jhalak, is not going to be a part of the entire season. That’s right! Reportedly, Sasha has only been signed on for 8 episodes of the show, after which he’s going to bid everyone goodbye. Source
