The official trailer of hindi movie "Heroine" which releases on 21st September, 2012 is out. The film is based on the life and times of a superstar heroine from the dream factory we call 'Bollywood'. The film is a daring, shocking, glamorous, scandalous behind the scenes account of the reality behind the world of glitz and glamour that our film stars inhabit. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the movie promises a behind-the-scenes experience at the scandals of bollywood. The cast includes Kareena Kapoor , Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami.

The trailer is a mix of 'Fashion' with 'The Dirty Picture'. Kareena plays Mahi Arora and is her usual self. For her the movie does not need any alterations from her real life. She gets to bad mouth and criticise the press in the movie which can be directed at them in real life also. She appears in her 'Chameli' avatar but in a loud manner. She adorns glamorous clothes and is involved with men like a movie director played by Arjun Rampal and a cricketer played by Randeep Hooda. Shahana plays a compatriot and confidante for Mahi. The end of the trailer is chilling showing a not so good phase of Mahi's life .
