Teen Choice Awards host Demi Lovato said 134 million votes were cast for the 14th annual awards, which honor film, TV, music and sports stars .

The stars of "The Twilight Saga" turned out to be big winners of the night Sunday, taking home ultimate choice, the Teen Choice Awards' lifetime achievement honor.Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were on hand in person to receive the honor, sending the crowd into a frenzy when they gave their surfboards to disbelieving audience members. Lautner told the crowd, "We owe everything to you guys," adding, "It's amazing you guys are still around and just as strong and just as loyal." Stewart also thanked the fans for their continued support of the vampire series. Pattinson did the same, and then gave his surfboard to the audience.

The victories for "The Twilight Saga," which also included Choice Movie: Romance for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and Choice Movie Actress: Romance for Stewart, pushed the series' overall total to a whopping 41 Teen Choice Awards.
"The Hunger Games" took the awards for Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice Book. Stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson won surfboards for Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice Movie Liplock, while Liam Hemsworth won Choice Movie Scene Stealer: Male. Alexander Ludwig, who portrayed the dastardly Cato, won Choice Movie Villain.
Chris Hemsworth, was named Choice Summer Movie Star: Male for his dual roles as Thor in "The Avengers" and The Huntsman in "Snow White and the Huntsman."
Emma Stone won both the Choice Movie Actress: Drama and Choice Movie Actress: Comedy categories, for "The Help" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love."
