Joss Whedon will be returning to "Avengers" . The adaptation of the Marvel Comics series has grossed nearly $1.5 billion worldwide.  He has signed to write and direct "The Avengers 2," Disney Chairman Bob Iger said Tuesday. Whedon will create a "Marvel-based" series for ABC.

Ranbir in, SRK out of 'Two States'

Grapevines of late are going on that the Badshah Shahrukh Khan has been replaced by youngistan dude Ranbir Kapoor in the much-talked project 'Two States', produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

'Lagaan' in all time 25 best sports movies list

Aamir Khan's 'Lagaan' which won an Oscar nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category, has made it to the all-time 25 best sports movies list compiled by Time magazine. The 2001 film, set in the times of the British Raj in India, clinched the 14th spot on the list.

Will Vijay remake Dookudu

The buzz in the industry is that actor Vijay is eyeing the Tamil remake rights of Dookudu, starring Mahesh Babu and Samantha in the lead. The film, which released this weekend, has been declared a hit on the opening day, and is doing good business in Tamil as well.

However, a source says, Vijays calendar is busy till next year. Hes working on Nanban and Velayudham. He will start work with A R Murugadoss soon and with Gautham Menon next year. Its highly unlikely that Vijay will want too remake Dookudu. Interestingly, Vjay had earlier remade Pokkiri, another Mahesh Babu film, and the Tamil version was a roaring success.
